Overdraft Services | Consumer Overdraft Changes | Other Services

Anyone can run a little short or make a mistake. Since life doesn’t always go according to plan, and overdrafts sometimes do occur, Old Missouri Bank’s overdraft options are designed with your convenience in mind.

Overdraft Privilege
As our standard overdraft service, your overdrafts may be approved if you have insufficient funds in your checking account (if your account is eligible for this service). There is no fee to add Overdraft Privilege to your account, and no fee if you never use the service. If an overdraft does occur, you will be charged an overdraft fee of $30.00 each time we pay an overdraft.

Enroll today by completing an “opt-in form”! To add Overdraft Privilege to your account, please read this notice (PDF), then return the signed notice to Old Missouri Bank or call us at 417-869-9000.

Line of Credit Overdraft Protection (DDL)*
A line of credit advances funds to your checking account to cover overdrafts. Total coverage is determined by your credit limit and is subject to credit approval. We do not charge to transfer funds from Line of Credit Overdraft Protection to your checking account; however, finance charges may be applied. To apply, visit an Old Missouri Bank branch or call 417-869-9000.

Transfer Overdraft Protection
Transfer Overdraft Protection allows you to link another Old Missouri Bank account (such as a savings**, money market** or even another checking account) to your primary checking account. Funds automatically transfer from your secondary account to your primary account (up to the available balance in your secondary account) to cover most overdrafts. There is no charge for this service. To open a savings or money market account, please visit an Old Missouri Bank branch or call 417-869-9000.

NOTE: if an electronic transaction requires authorization at the time of the transaction (e.g. point of sale, ATM and debit card transactions), the authorization will be based on the available balance of the primary checking account, not the available balance of the secondary account.

NOTICE OF CHANGES IN TEMPORARY FDIC INSURANCE COVERAGE FOR TRANSACTION ACCOUNTS
All funds in a "noninterest-bearing transaction account" are insured in full by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation from December 31, 2010, through December 31, 2012. This temporary unlimited coverage is in addition to, and separate from, the coverage of at least $250,000 available to depositors under the FDIC's general deposit insurance rules.
The term "noninterest-bearing transaction account" includes a traditional checking account or demand deposit account on which the insured depository institution pays no interest. It also includes Interest on Lawyers Trust Accounts ("IOLTAs"). It does not include other accounts, such as traditional checking or demand deposit accounts that may earn interest, NOW accounts and money-market deposit accounts.
For more information about temporary FDIC insurance coverage of transaction accounts, visit www.fdic.gov.
